When it's time for cheese, many still believe that it's the perfect time to bring out their best bottle of red wine. However, we now know that this is not the most interesting agreement: chemically, the milk proteins in cheese and the tannins in red wine are rather incompatible. With white wines, on the contrary, a balance is established between the acidities of wine and cheese!

Riesling goes well with goat's and sheep's cheeses thanks to its freshness and acidity. The Crémant pleasantly surprises with a Camembert, prolonging its light bitterness. For a Comté or a Beaufort, we will open a Pinot Gris which will be able to answer the character of pressed pasta. The Gewurztraminer has all its place alongside a Munster or a Maroilles. Its beautiful structure and its full-bodied side go perfectly with these strong and assertive cheeses. As for the Late Harvest, it goes well with Roquefort and blue-veined pasta. Powerful aromas of cheese and sweetness of wine balance each other on tasting.

Rates: 5 € /person (fruit juice and cheeses for children)
